Description: This short workshop meets two times. In the first session you will learn the basics of Ceramic Tile construction and some basic low relief carving and building techniques while you create your own tile. In the second course you will refine your tile and glaze it. The Instructor will take your tiles home and fire them, and deliver them to the HOA office where you will just come in to pick up your finished piece of artwork! Hang these tiles as decoration in your home, use them as coasters or trivets, or learn how to custom design your own kitchen or bathroom tile!
The class is appropriate for beginning and intermediate students who want to learn more about the ceramic process. A great way to customize your home and dip your toe into the world of ceramics!
